Jeffrey Kaye has brought into the sunshine one more ignominious truth revealing the the US' genocidal war against Korea . This article, appalling as it is for Americans to read, is but one episode of a total war of colonial subjugation waged against the Korean people from 1945-1953 which includes other chapters of mass murder, mass rape, mass incarceration, massive pollution of the land and water by exploded munitions, chemicals, and bacteriological warfare. Thank you, Jeff, for your tireless research and dedication to the truth. You are a true American patriot.

Ah yes, classic US "diplomacy". Very interesting to read Wilfred Burchett's first hand accounts of these events.

I knew virtually nothing about the Korean War until quite recently, when I discovered the Blowback podcast. Their 3rd season covers the Korean War in some detail, including these attacks. This article adds really interesting further detail and information.

I've little doubt that Israel has either learned its negotiation strategy and "shock and awe" method of war from the US or developed them alongside their US partners.

I just tried to find a copy of This Monstrous War online, and there are none for sale via AbeBooks, Better World, or Amazon. Amazon lists a fair number of Burchett titles (though most are not available for sale), but they don't even have a placeholder for TMW.

Hi John. Yes, the censorship was pretty thorough! Luckily there is now a free online PDF copy of the book. I linked to it in the story, but you might have missed it. Here is the link again: https://www.revolutionarydemocracy.org/archive/KoreanWar.pdf

Thanks! I always prefer a 'real' book, but this is better than nothing!
